Dreher DX 60/100 granulator

German equipment company Heinrich Dreher Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG has launched the DX 60/100, which it describes as a high-performance granulator for postindustrial and postconsumer plastics that also offers reliability and safety. The DX 60/100 granulator:
- has a rotor and bearings that can be pivoted down, allowing easy access to the rotor and stator knives while reducing the time needed for knife adjustments
- features rotors that are manufactured out of a solid bar of steel to avoid welding, resulting in balanced rotors with no vibration offers helical cutting action, creating high-quality granules with high density, helping reduce transportation and storage costs
- can be used for various types of film material and scrap and rejects from plastic parts production, such as blow molding and ejection molding
