ISRI APPOINTS MEDIA RELATIONS DIRECTOR
The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries Inc. (ISRI) has named Bryan McGannon to the post of director of media relations and marketing.
McGannon most recently served as a senior consultant at a Washington, D.C.-based public affairs consulting firm where he provided corporate clients with communications and grassroots campaign management.
He serves as ISRI’s primary media contact and is responsible for creating marketing materials to enhance the ISRI brand among the public and the institute’s members.
TRUST FUND ESTABLISHED FOR FLORIDA FAMILY
Resource Recycling LLC, Saint Petersburg, Fla., has established a trust fund for the family of Joshua Thompson, former plant manager, who died in June from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Thompson was 35 years old and is survived by a wife and three children, ages five, four and two.
The company has established a trust fund at Bank of America for Thompson’s children’s education and medical needs. Contributions to that fund can be made to:
