Dear Recycling Professional,
Marathon Equipment Company began producing waste processing equipment in 1967. As a result of listening to end-users and implementing those design elements, our products were quickly accepted by the industry. We’ve continued to enhance our designs over the years based on user input, which has made us the world’s leading manufacturer of waste compactors.
Marathon is committed to becoming the leading supplier of recycling machinery, and we understand that you, our customer, are the key to reaching that objective. We will rely upon the philosophy of customer-driven, high-quality, value-laden products that has made us a leader. We’re dedicated to engineering meaningful products to increase efficiency and decrease costs for recycling operations. We understand that in a commodity market, maximizing productivity while minimizing costs is essential to a profitable operation.
You have my personal commitment, and the commitment of all Marathon employees, that we are focused on your business goals and success. The next time you consider an investment in processing machinery for your recycling operation, consider NEXGEN. We’ll be there for you.
Respectfully Yours,
Gordon Shaw,

SENNEBOGEN 340G telehandler improves the view in Macon County, NC
An elevated cab is one of several features improving operational efficiency at the Macon County Solid Waste Management agency in North Carolina. When it comes to waste management, efficiency, safety and reliability are priorities driving decisions from day one, according to staff members of the Macon County Solid Waste Management Department in western North Carolina. The agency operates a recycling plant in a facility originally designed to bale incoming materials. More recently, the building has undergone significant transformations centered around one machine: a SENNEBOGEN telehandler (telescopic handler).
