MARATHON EQUIPMENT CO. ATLAS BALER
Marathon Equipment Co. is billing its new Atlas multi-material baler as “the most affordable, highly-efficient, mid-size baler for the nonferrous scrap industry.” The Atlas is designed for facilities baling from one to three tons of aluminum and steel cans, aluminum and copper wire, aluminum siding, extrusion, radiators, and other items. The machine features bolt-on and replaceable body and ram shear blades that can eliminate the need for most pre-cutting of materials.
HYUNDAI ADDS THREE WHEEL LOADER MODELS
Hyundai Construction Equipment has added three models to the wheel loader fleet it offers to North American customers. The new models—the HL780-3, the HL740-3/HL740TM-3, and the HL730-3—brings the overall number of models in the Hyundai line to six sizes with capacities ranging from 1.75 cubic yards to 6.5 cubic yards. Features offered include 40-degree articulation for increased maneuverability, heavy-duty loader linkage for stress reduction and shock absorption, and Z-bar linkage for increased breakout force.
ALLIED-GATOR OFFERS TWO TIP STYLES
Allied-Gator now offers customers two different shear tip styles with its 2000 Series Mobile Shears. The Gathering Tip is a multi-purpose tip designed for thin material and general cutting. The Stealth Tip is designed for heavier piercing capabilities. Both tips are cast from high-strength alloy steel.
GLOBAL WIRELESS SMALL TWO-WAY RADIO
The Vertex VX-10 is a small, two-way radio built to military specifications to endure in the toughest environment. The Global Wireless model comes equipped with an extra long-life battery, antenna and spring-loaded clip, and is available in both VHF and UHF models.
