MARATHON BALERS

Marathon Equipment Co. is now offering a number of different baler models. The Gemini 3560 is a twin-cylinder horizontal baler designed to bale newspapers, cardboard, aluminum and steel cans without fluttering or preconditioning.

The TR-8/40 (two ram baler) is designed to keep costs down by using a high-efficiency, smooth shifting power unit with multi-stage pump and jam free system. Marathon’s Side Eject Balers are designed to save space and money.

STELLAR HOOK-LIFT LOADERS

Stellar Industries offers hook-lift loaders that range in capacity from 3,000 to 65,000 pounds, with gross vehicle weights from 6,000 to 54,000 pounds and body lengths from eight to 24 feet. Stellar has designed and built the loaders to accept the rigors of heavy use, according to the company.

GETZ RUBBLE HOG

The Rubble Hog has been designed by Getz Recycle Inc. to process a wide variety of materials at speeds of up to 300 tons per hour. Materials that can be processed by the Rubble Hog include asphalt, concrete, demolition debris and wood. It is transportable and can be set up on-site in 15 minutes.

NEW HOLLAND 4X2 POWER SHIFT OPTION

New Holland North America Inc. now offers a 4x2 Power Shift automatic transmission option for its Model 575E and 675E backhoe/loaders. The new transmission is designed for ease of use, allowing operators to concentrate on their work rather than on shifting gears.

JOHN DEERE 160 LC EXCAVATOR

John Deere Construction Equipment Co. has introduced the 160 LC excavator, a new entry in the 14-16 metric ton class. The 160 LC has an operating weight of slightly more than 35,000 pounds and a reach of 30 feet, 6 inches. It can dig to a depth of just more than 21 feet and has just under 8,400 pounds of lifting capacity. The 160 LC is powered by a four-cylinder, 110-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine.
