San Diego-based Networkfleet Inc. has announced the launch of a new user interface that, according to the company, provides fast and easy access to detailed vehicle performance and fleet tracking information, larger maps, better access to reports and easy, intuitive navigation. “With an entirely rebuilt infrastructure that takes advantage of the latest technology innovations, the resulting design requires 50 percent fewer mouse clicks to retrieve detailed data on fleet operations,” the company says.
Networkfleet says the new interface was designed with direct input from fleet owners and managers across the company’s customer base. The system includes integrated help and online video training to help companies get up and running quickly.
“We use Networkfleet to monitor all aspects of fleet management and efficiency,” says Mark Iverson, maintenance director for the Eastern Municipal Water District in Perris, California. “Having had the opportunity to participate in the beta testing of the new user interface, we are very excited about the release. Networkfleet’s new user interface will make it even easier to perform a thorough assessment of fleet utilization, which will help us to increase cost savings and prolong the life of our fleet even further.”
Networkfleet’s user interface offers:
• Intuitive Navigation – Left side display of all vehicles with tabs for GPS tracking, performance, alerts, diagnostics and services provides faster access to data. Vehicles can be selected by groups or attributes.
• Vehicle Dashboard – At-a-glance view of the most important vehicle information, including location tracking, patented Networkfleet engine diagnostic data and vehicle performance information, such as speed history, mpg trend and fuel efficiency.
• Full-Screen Maps – A larger map view with configurable map controls is designed to provide for more flexibility when viewing map items such as geofences and landmarks.
• Reporting – Instant access to sophisticated reports in a few mouse clicks, including idle time, fleet utilization, stop detail and many others, so fleet managers can reduce operating costs.
“We designed this new user interface to work the way our customers work, while also building a platform that will accommodate rapid growth in the number and size of Networkfleet customers,” says Keith Schneider, president and CEO of Networkfleet. “This new design gives more power to fleet managers by making critical data easily accessible.”
Schneider adds that the company offers bundled pricing and a three-year warranty.
