Network Car Appoints VP of Finance

Joshua Haims joins company.

San Diego-based Networkcar, a leader in wireless fleet management, has announced the addition of Joshua Haims as vice president of finance. In this role, Haims will drive all financial activities for the organization, shape the company’s long-term strategy and further develop day-to-day tactics.

           

Haims has worked in a variety of corporate settings ranging from start-ups Global Centric Networks and Slopecycle to established companies IBM, Bloomingdales and KPMG Peat Marwick. He has a proven track record of successfully managing SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) implementation and compliance, SEC reporting, capital acquisitions, capital management, financial planning and analysis, product development, strategic business development, as well as system design and implementation.

Haims holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from Tulane University’s A. B. Freeman School of Business and is a certified public accountant.

           

Networkcar is a provider of wireless in-vehicle technology that combines patented remote diagnostic systems with GPS-based automatic vehicle location (AVL) technology. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hughes Telematics, based in Atlanta.
