Reflecting the Industry
The NAID board of directors mirrors the information destruction industry.
NAID members recently elected five colleagues to the association’s board of directors.Of the three directors elected, one is a mobile service provider from the Southwest who has been in business for less than two years, another represents a company offering both mobile and plant-based services and has been in the industry for more than a decade, and the last represents a mobile and plant-based service provider in the United Kingdom.
Of the two officers elected, the secretary is a mobile operator serving a large rural area who has been in business about four years, and the president-elect helped build one of the biggest regional mobile and plant-based services in the United States and now focuses strictly on product destruction.
I am using this valuable space to remind readers that the NAID board of directors comprises a wide variety of people from a healthy cross section of the industry, all making sure that your trade association is effectively confronting the challenges you and they face every day. Who do they represent? They represent you!
Bob Johnson is the executive director of the National Association for Information Destruction. He can be reached at exedir@naidonline.org.
