Metal Exchange Corp., St. Louis, has announced that Mark Butterfield has joined the company as president of Pennex Extruded Products, where he will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial, commercial, organizational and operational aspects of the extruded products businesses in Wellsville and York, Pennsylvania, and Leetonia, Ohio.

Butterfield has more than 30 years of progressive experience in the aluminum extrusion industry, including previous experience working in automotive manufacturing. He has a background in the manufacturing industry, including leadership roles as managing director and vice president of engineering - manufacturing. He also serves on the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) as a board of directors member and AEC Automotive Committee chairman. Butterfield’s office will be in Leetonia.
