Lefort America, Sunrise, Florida, has announced that recycling industry veteran Neil LeBlanc has accepted the position of vice president of sales and marketing.
LeBlanc has spent more than 35 years in the recycling industry. In the early years of his career, he held various leadership roles with Walker Magnetics Group, Worcester, Massachusetts. Most recently, he held senior management positions with Caterpillar Inc., Peoria Illinois.
In addition to these positions, LeBlanc has been an active supporter of various trade associations in Europe and the United States, Lefort America says in a news release announcing his appointment. He held a seat on the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) board of directors for four years in as well as a senior advisory position to past presidents of the National Demolition Association (NDA).
“We are extremely excited to welcome Neil to the Lefort America team,” says company President Yves Lambert. “His strong understanding of the North American and global recycling industries, longstanding relationships with many of our current and potentially future customers and his well-seasoned leadership skills position him for success in his new role.”

Founded in 1947, Lefort is a family business that designs and manufactures many types of hydraulic shears and balers for the metal recycling industry.
