Waco, Texas-based Himes Service Co. (HSC) has announced the promotion of Carlos Fabela to the position of general manager. In his new role, Fabela will facilitate all HSC departments and customers working together “to continue providing HSC’s growing customer base with exceptional service,” the firm says.
Fabela joined HSC in 2007 as a shop assistant. In the 15 years since then, he has developed what the recycling equipment service company calls an extensive product, service and industry knowledge base as he advanced through positions as technician, project manager, preventive maintenance manager and, most recently, service manager.
In his previous position, Fabela used his industry knowledge to help HSC expand its reach as a service provider, doubling the technician workforce and tripling preventive maintenance routes. According to CEO Roy Daily, “As our company continues to grow and thrive, we know Carlos’ depth of knowledge, leadership and customer focus will be instrumental in meeting our goals.”
Fabela says, “I feel privileged to work for a company where each employee is valued and encouraged to grow. I am looking forward to new challenges and continuing to be a part of expanding our footprint in the recycling industry. Here at HSC, we understand that our customers and our staff are both key to making that goal a reality.”
HSC describes itself as a multi-generational, family-owned company specializing in the sales and service of recycling and scrap processing equipment, having served customers nationwide for 25 years.
