Groeneveld Lubrication Solutions USA, a division of Netherlands-based Groeneveld International, has announced Wendi Varner has been appointed as the national sales manager for Groeneveld Lubrication Solutions USA.

Varner, who will be based at the company’s recently opened branch in Forest Park, Georgia, will be responsible for shaping the growth of Groeneveld in the U.S., through company-owned branches and independent dealers.

The company says Varner is a capable sales and operations leader with a track record of success. She began her career in inside sales, progressing to area operations manager for a large retail operator serving the transportation industry. Her experience supervising multiple locations across a large portion of the U.S. will play a pivotal role in helping Groeneveld continue its rapid growth in multiple market segments.

“We are pleased with the arrival of Wendi Varner to Groeneveld. Her tremendous experience in the transportation industry coupled with sales and operation skills we be particularly useful in the further expansion of our activates in the United States,” says Tim Wynia, CEO Groeneveld Lubrication Solutions North America.

“The United States is a very important growth market for Groeneveld, both in the on-road and the off-road sectors where Groeneveld has a strong position with industry-leading automatic lubrication systems and Oilmaster oil management systems, as well as with Greensight safety devices,” according to the company.

Groeneveld says it has an aggressive growth plan in place for the upcoming years, in the after-market as well as through original equipment manufacturers (OEM) sales. To accommodate this growth, the company says it is investing in enhancing its U.S. footprint.

The company has U.S. branches in Georgia, Ohio and Seattle, with additional branches opening in Florida, Texas and other states throughout 2017 and 2018. In addition to Varner, Groeneveld says it is seeking new independent sales and service distributors to support growth in the U.S.
