Four Metals Firms Announce Merger

Combined Firm will Operate as Metals Conversions Ltd.

Four metal industry veterans, Steve Senser, Rob Carey, Arnold Fish and Carl Roark, have announced the merger of their businesses. The merged company, to be known as Metal Conversions Ltd., will be based in Mansfield, Ohio.

Senser and Carey had been affiliated with Cousins Inc. and Metal Conversions Ltd. in Mansfield, while Fish was the former president of Lake Shore Metal Trading LLC in Evanston, Ill. and Roark headed the former CMB Metals in Swayzee, Ind. Additionally, Bruce Heimann, a former senior consultant with Commercial Alloys Corp. in Niwot, Colo., will be joining as a partner in the merged firm. 

“We believe the ability to serve our customers and suppliers will be enhanced by our combined strengths and varied talents,” says Rob Carey, president of Metal Conversions Ltd. “We can now offer a leading portfolio of products with an extraordinary set of people, skills and processes.”

In addition to trading offices in Mansfield, Ohio; Swayzee, Indiana and Boulder, Colorado; the merged company will operate an aluminum smelting plant in Painesville, Ohio and a nonferrous scrap yard in Mansfield, Ohio.

Metal Conversions, Ltd. will be concentrate on importing and exporting nonferrous metals, as well as serving the domestic primary and secondary metal markets.
