Eriez, based in Erie, Pa., has announced that it is now stocking the E-Z Tec 9100 metal detector. The company says that its 9100-45, 70, 100 and 120 models are ready for shipment within a week or less.
The metal separators, which the company says are popular in the plastics and rubber industries, offer a one-year warranty as well as the following features:
- Eriez’ balanced coil technology;
- An adjustable air-powered reject mechanism;
- A compact design for easy installation in gravity flow applications;
- Standard Jacob Fittings on discharge outlets;
- No calibration necessary and adjustable sensitivity;
- One fault relay and one detect or output relay;
- Single circuit board with self-monitoring electronics; and
- A painted steel enclosure, air filter, air regulator and water bleeder.
The E-Z Tec 9100 incorporates balanced coil technology and offers a higher sensitivity compared to other metal separators, according to Eriez. It ensures detection and rejection of very small ferrous, nonferrous and stainless steel metals.
The E-Z Tec 9100 offers a high-speed, air operated rejection system to minimize good product waste. The metal detector/separator is used to reject metal contaminated material or as a final quality check device.
More information on the E-Z Tec 9100 or any of Eriez’ metal detectors is available at www.eriez.com.
