Endura-Veyor Inc., Alpena, Michigan, has released the Debris Mitigator, which helps to prolong the life of conveyor belts.

Fine, shredded materials can lead to maintenance problems for conveyor belts. The Debris Mitigator provides a way for material that migrates underneath belts to exit through the frame so that it does not collect and build up between the belt and the frame, Endura-Veyor reports in a news release on the new product. The Debris Mitigator also comes with attachable recapture trays so that fine materials and debris from conveyor belts can be collected in a cleaner, more efficient way.

Endura-Veyor reports that the Debris Mitigator reduces maintenance time required for cleaning conveyor belts and frames. It also provides a quick visual check for debris.

The Debris Mitigator is available on a variety of conveyor types such as cleated belt, boxwall belt, flat belt as well as other belts designed for electronic scrap, document destruction, recycling and shredding applications. Click here for a demonstration video on the Debris Mitigator.

Endura-Veyor manufactures container dumps, hinged steel belts, drag chain, fabric belts and magnetic separator conveyors as well as other ancillary equipment used in scrap or loose material handling, recycling, manufacturing and distribution.
