E-EndUSA, a Frederick, Md.-based electronics recycling company, has entered into a strategic partnership with Engineering Services Network Inc. (ESN), Arlington, Va., to provide federal agencies with the ability to manage the secure data sanitization and destruction of media containing electronic data.

E-EndUSA specializes in sanitization and destruction of electronic media and the reuse and recycling of end-of-life electronics.

ESN provides engineering and technology solutions to federal agencies using a variety of services through a U.S. General Services Administration Veterans Technology Services (VETS) Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC).

Steve Chafitz, president of e-EndUSA, says, "Combining our ability to deal with end-of-life electronics and ESN’s expertise in IT services, we can help the EPA and GSA implement environmentally sound solutions for federal agencies." He adds, "This will protect our environment and stretch scarce budget dollars."

Rogue Disposal and Recycling, Medford, Ore., has partnered with ECS Refining, a Santa Clara, Calif.-based processor of electronic scrap, to recycle obsolete electronics. ECS’s new collection service center ECS Regenesys in Medford, Ore., is servicing Rogue.

With its automated "Regenesys Process," ECS has the ability to process 30,000 pounds of electronic products per hour. ECS guarantees environmentally safe recycling of computer products and the secure destruction of confidential data.

Curt Spivey, ECS Refining vice president of corporate development, says, "With our Regenesys Guarantee, nothing leaves our hands until it has been completely regenerated back into raw materials." He adds, "With the Regenesys process, nothing goes into landfills."

Rogue Disposal and Recycling General Manager Wendel Smith says, "With ECS and its Regenesys process, we can verify the complete recycling of all components that make up the e-waste we collect."

Rogue Disposal and Recycling provides a variety of services, including residential, commercial and industrial solid waste collection; curbside commingled household recycling pickup; and Rogue Shred on-site document shredding.
