Reclamere, based in Tyrone, Pa., has completed the National Association for Information Destruction’s (NAID) recertification process for the physical destruction of computer hard drives.
"This recertification is another step that Reclamere has taken to remain the national leader in secure IT Asset Management," Angie Singer Keating, Reclamere vice president of compliance and security, says.
Reclamere’s recertification required that the firm subject itself to an annual security audit and to occasional surprise security audits in the future. The Phoenix-based trade association NAID awarded the certification.
Bob Johnson, executive director of NAID, says, "Reclamere is one of only a few but growing number of computer reprocessing companies that have proven to meet our standards. I am sure this will help their current and future customers rest a lot easier."
