Ecomondo to take place in November
Ecomondo and Key Energy will take place 8-11 November 2016 at Rimini Expo Centre in Italy, showcasing climate change and the circular economy.

In 2015 the event drew 103,514 visitors (1.68% more than in 2014), the organiser says.
In addition to the traditional Ecomondo/Key Energy sectors, such as waste collection and treatment and recycling, the 20th edition of Ecomondo features sections on material handling and logistics, as well as a series on the circular economy. The event also focuses on energy efficiency in industrial terms.
The conference program, always one of the core features of the event, according to the show organiser, will focus on promoting secondary materials and the circular economy. Fabio Fava and Gianni Silvestrini guide the Technical Scientific Committees for Ecomondo and Key Energy, respectively. During the event, delegates from the European Commission present their strategies for developing the bio-economy in the Mediterranean. In addition, Willy Verstraete, professor emeritus, world-renowned scientist and president of the International Water Association’s cluster for recovering resources from municipal purifiers, presents “From ‘Waste’ to ‘Used’ Water Treatment Plants: Towards Resource Recovery Facilities.”
