Axion International, a manufacturer of recycled composite plastic industrial building products, has appointed Steven Silver president and COO. He also has been named to the company’s board of directors.
“Today we take another step in strengthening Axion’s executive management,” says Jim Kerstein, Axion’s co-founder and CEO. “We are another step closer to our goal of becoming a globally recognized infrastructure building supply company providing green solutions to the heavy-construction, railroad and marine industries. Our commitment is to confirm a management team and board of directors with a broad, independent nature, capable of greatly expanding our product reach. Steve’s experience in growing businesses on both the domestic and international levels is well respected and we’re all excited to support that effort.”
