BIR director departs
Alexandre Delacoux, who has been director general of the Bureau of International Recycling (BIR), Brussels, since late 2013, has left the recycling association as of 1 July 2016.
In a letter to members, BIR President Ranjit Baxi expresses appreciation to Delacoux for his services and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
Baxi adds that the association will look for a successor. In the meantime, the BIR secretariat will be run by its three directors—Ross Bartley, Elisabeth Christ and Anja Wimmer—with the full support of the executive committee.
