The mission of American Pulverizer is to continually grow and build an innovative, quality worldwide company that enables customers to achieve their goals. Utilizing our experience, equipment, and services we are able to empower future generations of customers, employees and owners.
Since 1908, American Pulverizer Company has been manufacturing heavy-duty, reliable equipment to provide many years of satisfactory service. As the originators of the rolling ring crushers, American Pulverizer has become one of the most diversified suppliers of reduction equipment worldwide. Applications for our equipment include the processing of ferrous and nonferrous scrap, turnings, steel clips, limestone, coal, chemicals, paper, plastic, municipal solid waste and hazardous waste.
As of this writing, American Pulverizer is undergoing a plant expansion and upgrade project. In conjunction with our wholly owned subsidiary Hustler Conveyor Company, we will have nearly 50 acres of land with over 175,000 sq.ft. of manufacturing space, with nearly 30,000 sq.ft. dedicated to office space.
As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2008, we do so as a company that has sold nearly 9,000 machines in that time.
American Pulverizer Company sells equipment systems worldwide. When Hustler Conveyor Company was acquired in 1979, American Pulverizer Company became the only shredder company to have a conveyor company as a wholly owned subsidiary. This arrangement provides a completely integrated system with a single source of supply and responsibility.
The philsophy of both companies is to promote employees from within the organization, both in the office as well as in our shops. Many employees have worked their entire career at American Pulverizer Company and Hustler Conveyor Company.
We look forward to serving our customers throughout our second 100 years in business.
If we have not yet had the pleasue to work together, we cordially invite prospective customers who wish to view our facilities to come to St. Louis and discuss applications for our products with our engineering and sales staff.
