4thBin, an electronics recycler and data destruction company based in New York, has appointed Cynthia Salitsky as its chief marketing officer. In the newly created position, Salitsky will join the senior leadership team of the company and report to 4thBin CEO Paul Kirsch.
According to a news release from 4thBin on Salitsky’s appointment, she will be responsible for driving 4thBin’s demand generation strategy, brand and marketing strategy, advertising, social media and corporate communications.
Prior to joining 4thBin as its chief marketing officer, Salitsky worked as global communications director for Wilmington, Delaware-based The Chemours Co.’s Fluoroproducts business. In that role, she led crisis and issues communications for the brand. She also was responsible for developing the company’s strategic brand and marketing agenda for six of the company’s seven power brands. Prior to joining Chemours, Salitsky spent 20 years with U.K.-based AstraZeneca, where she held numerous communication leadership roles, including head of enablement for global research and development (R&D) communications, head of key account management and communication excellence, global R&D and director, R&D PR-communication strategy.
With over 25 years of experience, Salitsky has a unique blend of expertise in communications, sales and marketing, strategic planning as well as managerial and operational excellence. Her career is marked with critical roles in several “startup” functions and capabilities within an organization, making her a perfect fit for 4thBin, the company states.
