Two Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn., document destruction firms, Shred Right and Document Destruction Service Ltd., have merged their operations. The combined companies will operate under the Shred Right name.
In a press release announcing the deal, the companies say the merger will create the largest, locally owned, independent information destruction firm in the upper Midwest.
Ron Mason founded Shred Right and serves as the company’s president, while Walt Lambader founded Document Destruction Service.
The combined company says it will have more resources available to provide area businesses with customer service and security.
“The merger puts us in a better position to compete in the marketplace,” Mason says. “We are providing a stronger company that will be better for our customers.”
