Starting as a small purchasing cooperative dedicated to selling recycled-content paper, The Recycled Products Purchasing Cooperative is expanding its coverage to become a national organization.
According to the co-op, this year member purchases are expected to reach more than 50,000 cases of recycled content paper.
The RPPC is sponsored by the U.S. EPA, Region 9, Union Bank of California and the Massachusetts Department of Protection. The group aims to have a purchasing volume of 200,000 cases of recycled-content paper a year by 2003.
Membership in the cooperative is free. For more information on the group visit www.recycledproducts.org or call (800) 694-8355.
