Willamette Industries restarted its mill at Port Wentworth, Ga., last week. The mill had been closed for close to two years. Before Willamette purchased the mill, earlier this year, the mill was owned by Smurfit-Stone Container.
The mill produces pulp which is sold to both domestic and export markets.
