WasteMasters, Inc. signed a letter of intent to acquire substantially all the assets from the Northeast and Mid- Atlantic states of Global Eco-Logical Services, Inc. Global's assets provide a fully integrated waste company, with a consolidated commercial and industrial collection, recycling and transportation business in Philadelphia and surrounding markets, as well as a 141acre construction and demolition landfill in Eastern Ohio.
In a related transaction, the company received a licensing commitment by Total Recovery Systems, Inc. to install a Thermal Recycling System that recycles household waste collected by the business into a reusable product, achieving up to 90% recycling of the household waste, thereby reducing the amount of waste disposed into the landfill.
