Waste Management Inc. announced financial results for its second quarter ended June 30. Revenues for the quarter were $3.27 billion as compared to $3.32 billion in the year ago period. The company reported net income of $0.3 million for the period, compared with $318.3 million, for the second quarter 1999.
For the six months ended June 30, Waste Management reported operating revenues of $6.48 billion as compared to $6.40 billion for the comparable period last year. Net income was $55.3 compared to $665.0 for the same period in 1999.
