Waste Holdings, Inc reported
financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2001:
For the quarter the company
reported service revenue of $59.7 million, a 4.9% increase over the same period
in 2000. Operating income for the quarter was $5.7 million, down 9.4% from the
same period in 2000. Net income was $1.2 million, down 49.3% from the same
period in 2000.
