The production of tissue products moved up slightly for August, bringing the eight-month production total to 4.573 million tons, a 1.2 percent increase from figures the same time last year.
According to the American Forest and Paper Association, tissue production for August stands at 589,000 tons, compared to last August's figure of 576,000 tons.
