Tembec announced that its
subsidiary Tembec S.A. completed the acquisition of all the shares of two
subsidiaries of the LaRochete Group: Cellurhône S.A. and Pyrénécell S.A. in
France.
Pyrénécell will be renamed Tembec
Saint-Gaudens S.A. The mill is located in southern France. The mill has a
current capacity of 300,000 metric tons of hardwood kraft pulp per year.
Cellurhône will be renamed Tembec Tarascon
S.A. The mill has a current capacity of 270,000 metric tons per year of softwood
kraft pulp.
