Stora Enso's board of directors will hold an extraordinary general meeting Aug. 18 to approve the agreement and planned merger between Stora Enso and Consolidated Papers, Inc. that would result in the acquisition of Consolidated Papers, Inc. by the Stora Enso Group.
In addition, at the meeting the board will propose to approve the subscription of new shares for the acquisition of Consolidated Papers, Inc. and authorize the granting of option rights Consolidated personnel to replace the current option schemes of Consolidated Papers, Inc.
