Stora Enso announced that it is prepared to cut production at its mills to maintain
stability in price and demand for its finished products. Stora is the second
largest papermaker in the world.
The
Finnish-Swedish company said that although it expected demand in general to
remain firm, in certain key product segments, such as fine paper and pulp,
there were now signs of weaker demand and oversupply.
