Packexpo.com announced that it signed a Letter of Intent with Sonoco to form a B2B partnership. The partnership initially will include a listing of four Sonoco product lines on Packexpo.com's recently introduced Purchasing Exchange.
In addition to the four product lines being listed on Packexpo.com's Purchasing Exchange, Sonoco will advertise on Packexpo.com to increase visibility in new markets as well as in the 33 countries where it currently operates.
"Sonoco was looking for fast entry into e-commerce. Recognized as a full- service provider of B2B solutions, Packexpo.com was a logical choice for our business because of the strong model they have in place," said Terry Poplava, director of e-business for Sonoco.
