Smurfit Argentina SA, a subsidiary of Jefferson Smurfit Group, acquired Fabrica Argentina de Carton Corrugado, an Argentinean corrugated producer.
The acquired facility operates one plant with an annual production capacity of 40,000 metric tons. Jefferson Smurfit Group has one mill and two corrugated facilities in Argentina. Following this acquisition Jefferson Smurfit Group will have a 13 percent share of the Argentina market.
