SCA North America Inc. opened its North American
headquarters in Delaware County, N.J. The company is a division of Swedish
paper and pulp company Svenska Cellulosa Aktiebolaget.
The company has been growing its presence in the North American market, culminating with its recently completed acquisition of Georgia Pacific Corp.'s "away-from-home" tissue division, with several plants nationwide. SCA also signed a deal Friday to acquire the protective-packaging operations of Tuscarora Inc. of New Brighton.
