Quality Paper Fibers,
headquartered in Pico Rivera, Calif., has taken over the operation of the
Glendale, Calif., recycling center. According to local press reports, Quality
also signed a five-year contract with the city to operate the facility, as well
as to sign up local businesses to collect recyclables.
Under the contract Quality
will pay Glendale $96,000 a year to handle various recyclable materials
collected and shipped to the facility.
