The state of Pennsylvania
has put together an Internet directory to assist businesses and government
agencies find properties for development.
The site, called SiteFinder,
finds developers, real estate agents and property owners a resource to find
everything they need.
PA SiteFinder is an updated,
full-service website where property owners can post brownfields for sale. After
owners post detailed information about their sites, developers and others can
use PA SiteFinder to search for a suitable location. Financial and technical
assistance also are available.
Users also can search for
state, federal and non-governmental grants and loans, in addition to getting
technical assistance. If they have a site to sell, they can fill out a form
with all the details, including a ``sales pitch,'' and post it. If some of the
details change, the information can be edited.
PA SiteFinder is a part of Pennsylvania's
Land Recycling Program, which plays a vital role in the environmental and
economic health of Pennsylvania.
