Norske Skog announced plans
to reduce its global newsprint production by 10 percent over the next two
months. The move is being done as worldwide demand for newsprint declines.
The recent announcement
follows previously announced downtime taken by the company’s minority interest
newsprint mill, Pan Asia Paper Co.
