Newstech Recycling
Partnership named Crown Packaging – Paper Recovery Division, the winner of its
annual Supplier of the Year Award.
Crown Packaging was cited
for the quality of the recovered paper, service efficiency and timely response,
and reliability and flexibility in shipping performance.
Crown ships Newstech from
its eight packaging plants in the Western Canadian provinces.
Newstech consumes around
180,000 tons of recovered fiber a year, converting the paper into deinked pulp
for newsprint and directory paper.
The mill uses deinked news,
coated sections, old magazines and telephone directories.
