Parsons & Whittemore
Inc. will reduce production at its Alabama River Pulp Co. Inc. hardwood market
pulp mill in Perdue Hill, Ala., by 32,000 metric tons between February and
April.
The company is taking the
action at the approximately in order to match production with order inflows.
P&W took significant
downtime at its mills late last year. Reports state that the paper company took
a total of around 51,000 metric tons during the fourth quarter last year.
