Marathon Equipment announces enhancements to its RamJet stationary compactors. The RamJet standard 2-yard, 3-yard and 4-yard stationary compactors now feature Allen-Bradley motor starters, totally enclosed fan cooled motors, quick release motors, thicker steel on floor, sides, ram face and ram top.
The new "quick release" motor will allow for quick and easy motor maintenance.
The last feature added to the compactor is the Tricon, a fullness assurance system. This is a timer-shifting device that eliminates one limit switch. It is located outside, meaning no electrical components inside the compactor. It needs no adjustment. It also allows the ram to dwell against the load for better compaction rations.
More information on the upgraded compactor may be obtained by contacting Marathon at (800) 269-7237, or visiting the web site www.marathonequipment.com.
