Louisiana-Pacific Corp. temporarily closed a plant in Missoula, Mont., that makes wood
boards because electricity costs were too high, according to the Associated Press. Power costs at the plant soared the day after the plant's contract with power
supplier Enron Corp. expired. The plant's 240 workers continued to report to
do maintenance and other tasks, and the Portland, Oregon-based company said
the plant may reopen the end of this week if power prices drop.
