Louisiana-Pacific will be taking production downtime at all of its North American oriented strand board facilities to adjust inventories with customer demand and actively manage working capital levels. LP will suspend operations at its North American OSB mills for two weeks in December. During the downtime, plants will focus on capital improvements geared at improving operational efficiencies and/or routine year-end maintenance.
