Samoa Pacific Cellulose acquired Louisiana Pacific’s Samoa pulp manufacturing facility last month. The company plans major investments to upgrade the manufacturing operations. Steps to improve the operation include a program of capital investment to enhance cost competitiveness, boost productivity and broaden the mill’s product lines.
