>International Paper announced plans to indefinitely idle its Moss Point Bleached Board Mill. Plans call for the mill to be shut down by the end of this quarter. IP cited high costs to run the mill, as well as slowing demand by its customer base.
The mill has one
machine that, at full capacity, can produce 200,000 tons of bleached board and
bristols a year.
