Inland Paperboard and Packaging acquired Elgin Corrugated Box Co., a privately held manufacturer of corrugated boxes. The company has two facilities in Elgin, Ill. The acquisition is expected to close by the end of this month.
Elgin’s two plants will be incorporated into Inland’s Midwest district, which has plants in Northlake, Ill.; Crawfordsville, Ind.; and St. Louis.
