The Indiana Department of Commerce is offering loans and
grants to help companies integrate recycling into their work environment.
Deadline for the upcoming quarterly funding is April 27.
The program is administered by the Commerce Department’s
Energy Policy Division. Grants and loans are available on a quarterly basis.
The program offers the following packages:
· Zero
interest loans of up to $1 million for companies purchasing equipment to make
recycled-content products or prepare material for use as an industrial
feedstock
· Grants of
up to $100,000 for companies researching and testing ways to reduce waste,
increase use of recycled-content material or increase recycling
· Grants of
up to $30,000 to help companies market a recycled-content product
· Grants of
up to $5,000 to government entities to purchase recycled-content feedstocks and
products.
For more information on the funding, include a pre-proposal
to the Department of Commerce by April 27th, attention Sarah Carney.
