Georgia-Pacific Corp. is
spending $80.5 million for new paper- sheeting equipment and an expansion of
its Port Hudson, La., paper mill.
The mill now employs about
950 workers. Georgia-Pacific's expansion includes $39.8 million for equipment
and $39.7 million for labor and engineering, according to an advance
notification form filed with the state Office of Commerce and Industry.
