"Considering our sales team spent almost half the month of May traveling to various trade shows in North America, from Prince George, B.C. to Richmond, VA, they were still able to grow our customer base by 71 new customers," said Martin Vincent, sales manager of forestindustry.com.
In addition to the growing customer base, forestindustry.com's web site, www.forestindustry.com, received over 3.3 million hits in May, an increase of over 500,000 hits from April. More importantly, the 226,395 unique visitors was more than 16% of April's figures.
"We are gaining excellent traction in the forest industry community rapidly and represent an excellent value proposition for our customers," said Joe Perraton, President of forestindustry.com. "I am not surprised at the dramatically increasing number of industry professionals using our site and services, the forest sector is now starting to pay more attention to the new economy," said Perraton.
