Fibermarket announced a partnership arrangement with webMethods, Inc, a provider of business-to-business integrations solutions, to integrate its marketplace with the back-office systems of buyers, suppliers, and brokers in the forest products industry.
Fibermarket is streamlining the procurement process in the worldwide forest products industry in a joint development effort with Oracle Corp. and companies in the forest products industry.
By using webMethods' system to connect buyers' and suppliers' back-office systems with its marketplace, Fibermarket plans on allowing users to streamline the transaction process and better manage the underlying business functionality by eliminating the need to key in critical data more than one time.
